Senior Drilling Superintendent

We are currently supporting a major energy operator with the appointment of an experienced Drilling Superintendent to oversee drilling and well abandonment activities across its UK operations (contract). The role provides operational leadership and technical oversight, ensuring drilling and abandonment programmes are executed safely and in accordance with approved well programmes and regulatory requirements - responsibilities include planning and reporting on drilling/abandonment operations, coordinating drilling services and logistics, administering drilling service contracts, supporting contractor pre-qualification and tender evaluations, and deputising for the Well Construction Manager. Requires extensive operational wellsite experience, significant drilling and well operations experience at Superintendent level, strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, and experience overseeing contractors and operational expenditure; well abandonment/P&A experience highly advantageous.
