Looking to build your skills in a varied role where you can learn how different parts of a business work?

Carnegie Group are a principal contractor specialising in commercial and industrial steel frame solutions, handling the construction process from start to finish.

As an employee-owned business, we encourage people to get involved, understand the wider business and feel comfortable contributing ideas.

Although this is a 12-month fixed-term contract, a permanent opportunity may be available for the right candidate, subject to business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to our Contracts and Site teams
  • Ordering site materials and equipment
  • Coordinating maintenance administration for company-owned tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Managing diaries and bookings
  • Handling telephone calls

What we’re looking for

  • Ideally, you’ll have at least one year’s experience in an administrative position within a construction firm, along with:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • A confident telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills and a willingness to learn and get involved

Benefits

  • NEST pension

  • Birthday leave

If you’re looking for a varied administration role where you can contribute, learn and develop your skills, we’d love to hear from you.
